I would like to call this simple delight on the plate.

Buckwheat and Oat Flour Savoury Crepe

Ingredients:

  • 30 grams of buckwheat flour
  • 15 grams of oat flour
  • pinch of salt & asafoetida, 1 teaspoon of cumin.

Method: Mix all the ingredients into a bowel , pour in a cup and a half of water ( 1 1/2 cups) , give it a generous stir and the batter is ready for cooking on a pan over low to medium heat.

Tempeh Chunks Roast

Ingredients :

  • 100 grams of tempeh cut into small cubes
  • Chunks of vegetables (carrots, red capsicum and cucumber) – 1 cup in total
  • 2-3 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cube of vegetable stalk (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon of avocado oil
  • pinch of celery salt, black pepper, asafoetida, cumin

Method: On a non stick frying pan heat your oil, add cumin, asafoetida followed by tempeh cubes. On medium heat cook the tempeh until crispy on the outside – add salt, vegetable stalk. Next, add your chopped vegetables in the pan and give it a toss with soy sauce. Cook until vegetables start to get soft.

Kefir Raita

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup of Kefir ( Coconut Milk Yoghurt)
  • shredded cucumber and carrots
  • 20 grams of pumpkin seeds
  • salt and pepper for taste

Method : Combine all ingredients into a bowel and serve cold.

  • Half medium size ripe papaya
  • 3 rice cakes ( flavoured or unflavoured)
